Distribution Operations Platform

A growing distribution business was running stock counts, supplier settlements and fleet tracking for its field reps on an app tied to a single hosting provider. The app had grown into one hard-to-maintain codebase and had defects that affected daily work. The business needed a platform it could host anywhere and trust with financial data, without retraining staff or losing any history.

We rebuilt the platform on a modern React, Node.js and MongoDB architecture while keeping the interface and workflows the team already knew, so the switch caused no disruption. Field reps submit stock counts, KM and fuel entries with photo evidence from their phones. Admins approve them, reconcile supplier statements against counted stock, close accounting periods and track every change in a full audit trail. We added role-based workspaces for admins, reps, supervisors and external viewers, transactional safeguards on all financial updates, and a live-support mode that lets an admin work inside a user's account while the user watches. An optional AI layer explains month-on-month fleet cost changes in plain language. A verified migration tool moved all historical data across with every original record intact.
